Associate Information Systems Engineer
Eagle TG is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Associate Information Systems Engineer to join our team. Candidates will need to be within commuting distance of Scott AFB, IL.
Missing a certification for this position? Eagle TG will work with candidates that are otherwise fully qualified to help them obtain required certifications such as CompTIA Sec+, ITIL, CISSP, and other required certifications."
The salary range for this position is $45,000-$65,000 annually and is dependent on geographical location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure including application, database, and cloud components.
- Conduct analysis of business problems and lead the evaluation, development, and recommendation of specific technology and business process solutions.
- Guide configuration, debugging, and support for application, database, and cloud components and ensure all quality and change control standards are met.
- Assist with root cause investigations and provide recommendations for preventative measures.
- Proactively address gaps with existing support processes, documentation, etc. and prioritize according.
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
- Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance
- Experience supporting diverse Department of Defense customers
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to clearly communicate (written and spoken) with peers and customers
- Ability to work individually as well as with cross function teams
- Strong desire to learn to use new technologies as required
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ or higher certification
Desired
- Active US DoD Secret clearance
- Experience working with United States Transportation Command, Air Mobility Command, or Surface Deployment and Distribution Command IT systems
- Experience working within an agile-scrum software development team
- Exposure to system design/frameworks
- CompTIA Security+ or better
